Looking to work out outdoors this Summer?
If you're feeling cooped up inside, now is the time to start planning some outdoor WODs because the heatwave (🤞) will soon be upon us.
And the best thing is, nearly all of these exercises could be done without any equipment at all so your fitness really doesn't have to break the bank.

With no kit at all you can get started outdoors doing fitness. Either on your own or instructing a group, you can do a work out with no kit needed whatsoever. There are hundreds of exercises to choose from but our top 5 are:
- Star Jumps
- The Plank
- Mountain Climbers
Add a Gym Mat
Add a mat and you can start some core work.
Add a Medicine Ball or Grip Ball
Make your workout more engaging and add some weight
- Weighted Russian Twists
- Weighted Lunges
- Weighted Squats
- Shoulder Press using a Double Grip Ball
Add a pair of Dumbbells
The number of exercises you can do goes up a great number. Start adding to your exercises:
- Bicep Curl
- Dumbbell Row
- Overhead Press
- Renegade Row
- Triceps Extension
- Dumbbell Lateral Raise
- Dumbbell Fly
- Dumbbell Floor Press
Add a Plyo Box
Start to add some more explosive and dynamic movements to your workout with a multi-functional plyo box. Use for:
With just yourself, a mat and a pair of dumbbells you can perform hundreds of WODS indoors or out to your hearts content.
You don't need loads of kit to make a varied workout, but it will probably make it more enjoyable if you have more things to play with 😜
