Jordan Fitness founder Neil Jordan today announced that, after nearly eight years as the Sales Director, Zak Pitt has been promoted to the position of Managing Director, taking over from Jordan, who will remain as company Chairman.

Pitt’s former role will be split, meaning Jordan Fitness will, for the first time, focus on managing direct and trade sales separately. Dedicated to direct will be Paul Ferreira, who has been appointed Head of UK Direct Sales, whereas Scott Lamber will concentrate on trade as Global Trade Sales Manager.

“With our outstanding growth, especially over the last two years, this move will ensure that we can continue to service our customers at the highest level,” said Jordan, adding that “it enables me to focus on my true passion, which is new product innovation, and seeing that through to new and exciting product on the gym floor.”

“This new structure will help us to provide the most professional, tailored solutions for our customers, and help them best satisfy their members,” adds Pitt, continuing: “from the largest chains through to the smaller independents, and everything in between.”

During Zak Pitt’s (Centre) tenure as Sales Director, he has helped oversee Jordan Fitness’ 500% growth, launch the Ignite® range, and grew Jordan Fitness’ overseas distributor network to cover most of Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Paul Ferreira (Right) was formerly the International Sales Performance Manager at Escape Fitness, and has 14 years’ experience of the fitness industry.

Scott Lamber (Left) joins Jordan Fitness from Creative Fitness Marketing, where he had success in many different gym membership “Member Drive” campaigns all over the UK.

Operating for over 25 years, Jordan Fitness is one of the UK’s leading suppliers to the fitness industry, specialising in the design, manufacture and sale of the highest quality functional fitness equipment for customers across the globe.
