Functional fitness specialists, Jordan Fitness, are assisting professional boxer and current WBO light heavyweight world champion, Nathan Cleverly, in his training to step his career up a level to become an elite fighter.

Retaining his title for the fifth time, Cleverly recently demolished opponent Robin Krasniqi at Wembley Arena in defence of his WBO title. The 26 year old Welshman now has a unification bout with IBF champion, Bernard Hopkins, set firmly in his sights in a fight planned for the end of the year. Jordan Fitness is assisting with supplying a range of training equipment to help Cleverly reach elite status.

“Nathan has been training hard this year in preparation for his big fights”, says Darren Wilson, Nathan Cleverly’s Strength and Conditioning Coach. “Using the Jungle Gym XT, Jordan Kettlebells, tornado balls, oversized med balls and slam balls all provided by Jordan Fitness, we have integrated these into his rigorous training regime to ensure that Nathan is in peak physical condition for what is already providing to be a very busy and successful year”.

“We are extremely proud to be assisting Nathan with his strength and conditioning training and delighted that he chose us in his quest to step his, already glittering, career up even further. That choice is testament to the great reputation our equipment has for delivering results. We wish Nathan all the very best with his forthcoming bouts and the planned unification fight at the end of the year”, says Zak Pitt, Sales Director at Jordan Fitness.

“Jordan Fitness was the first choice for my functional fitness training equipment. I insisted upon it”, says Nathan Cleverly. “The next step for me is fights that test me; fights with technically brilliant fighters like Hopkins and Shumenov. Jordan Fitness provides high quality functional fitness equipment, ideal for tough strength and conditioning programmes and is perfectly suited in helping me achieve that goal”.
