With more than 1,550 members, you might think that John Grindrod at FTC Gym Ipswich has got his hands full, but we can tell you that when we went to see him, he was taking it all in his stride — with a little help, of course, from Fifi, his beloved cocker spaniel and resident FTC Gym dog.
As John will soon tell you, it’s all about the members, and he’s got a story for every one of them. Like many independent gyms, they know their members as they would their best friends, and treat them like one big family. That’s what it’s all about, and it is definitely an ethos that John signs up to.
With members front and centre, John wanted to add the ‘family crest’ as it were and really shine the gym’s branding throughout, so as well as all of the functional JORDAN kit, he also made sure he had some custom Dumbbells, Barbells and Bumper Plates, taking the gym vibe to a whole new level.
