The PodBase allows you to place the Pod on any surface, giving it more stability and preventing it from moving or flipping on hard surfaces.

Usability: Providing a bigger tap surface as the PodBase and Pod become "as one"
Protection: Keeping the Pods more secure, protecting the charging pins when being used on grass and preventing the Pods from freezing on the ice
Visibility: Making the Pods more visible, especially on surfaces like grass where the Pods are sometimes hard to be seen.
